The DISCLOSE Trial has reached a major milestone: 100 randomised participants. Launched in August 2025 at Tampere University Hospital, the trial has grown to 9 centres across 4 countries in less than a year, with over 20 researchers now contributing. 100 down. Many more to go.

We’re excited to share a strong start from our newest recruiting centers in Helsinki, Hämeenlinna, Oulu, and Kuopio, alongside our established sites in Tampere and Viborg. Together, these centers have already achieved 10% of our total recruitment target, with 58 out of 532 participants enrolled.

We are pleased to close the first year of the DISCLOSE Trial, having successfully randomized 40 participants across two centers: Tampere University Hospital and Viborg Regional Hospital, following the start of recruitment in August. We are now excited to move into the next phase of the trial. Five new centers are ready to begin recruitment: Tartu University Hospital, Helsinki University Hospital, Kuopio University Hospital, Oulu University Hospital, and Hämeenlinna Central Hospital.

Yesterday marked a major milestone for the trial. Our recruitment team at Tampere University Hospital successfully enrolled four patients in a single day! A big thank you to our dedicated team members, Antti Lahtinen and Henri Nygren, for their outstanding efforts and commitment.
